“Let’s Grab a Beer” Beer is the original social network and has been bringing people together for centuries. In fact, how many times have you said to someone, “Hey, let’s grab a beer,” and it turned into an incredible relationship-building opportunity? We want to make more of those moments happen by giving adults endless reasons to come together over beer. To get started, tomorrow, on National Beer Day—the day prohibition on beer was officially repealed in 1933—Anheuser-Busch is introducing a new consumerfacing initiative called Let’s Grab a Beer.
Let’s Grab a Beer is a movement being led by Anheuser-Busch to celebrate all things beer and highlight the best parts of beer’s vibrant culture – from food and beer pairings and style guides to tips on the perfect pour. You’ll see very little branding though, because our goal is to elevate the profile and perception of the entire beer category – not just a single brand or brewer. We also want to engage beer lovers in unique ways that create excitement and start conversations.
First and foremost, we launched http://LetsGrabA.Beer, the hometo all things beer: from beer-and-food pairings and style guides to glassware and insights; it’s a place for beer drinkers to stop and drink it all in. (And, yes, beer now has its own domain name!) As fellow beer advocates, we encourage you to visit the site and share our content. Together, we can help keep beer at the forefront of adults’ minds now and well into the future.
